Photographic Club Judge

I am an amateur photographer. I have been an active member of the Foothills Camera Club in WA for many years. I am currently the President and Competition Director of the Club.

I have had many acceptances into the Perth Royal Agricultural Show, and the WAPF interclub, including winning both the Best Nature Slide and the best Open slide in 2008. I have also has had an Honourable Mention for "upond reflection" in the GEM CC “Spring in the Hills” 2015, judged by Seng Mah and Johannes Reinhart.

I have had many years of experience judging at club level competitions, and have completed the WAPF Photography Judges Course with Brent Acie in October 2015.I did remote judging while I was in Queensland for 4 years for WA Clubs. While in Queensland I was a member of a little country town Camera Club in Allora. I did do some country show judging and judged at some Camera Clubs on person as well, but the travel distances were off putting! Now I am back in Perth I am judging for clubs in person which is my preference.

I am currently using a Nikon D7100 preferring the lighter weight, and ease of use.

My subjects of choice are Nature, Seascapes and Landscapes and Macro.
